Whistler Day Spa is seeking a Front Desk & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

Education Requirements

Responsibilities & Compensation:

This is a guest-facing hospitality role first and foremost. The majority of your time will be spent supporting front desk operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences, while some of your time will focus on marketing, content creation, and supporting the growth of the business.

You will be one of the first people our guests interact with, helping create a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience from the moment they book until they leave the spa. Alongside your front desk responsibilities, you'll help bring the Whistler Day Spa brand to life through social media, content creation, promotions, and guest communications.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, thrives in a hospitality environment, and has previous marketing experience they would like to continue developing.

What You'll Be Doing

Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service throughout their spa experience
  • Answer phones, emails, texts, and online inquiries
  • Manage bookings, schedule changes, and guest requests
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
  • Support therapists and daily spa operations
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception environment
  • Help ensure every guest feels genuinely cared for from arrival to departure

Marketing & Content Support

  • Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other platforms
  • Capture photo and video content within the spa
  • Design graphics and marketing materials using Canva
  • Support promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and special events
  • Assist with website updates and business listings
  • Support email marketing and guest communications
  • Monitor online reviews and guest feedback
  • Contribute ideas that help grow brand awareness and engagement

What Experience You Need For This Position:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, wellness, retail, or customer service
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, social media management, content creation, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance guest-facing responsibilities with project-based work
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technology

Required Skills & Experience

  • Canva proficiency is required
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business, organization, or personal brand
  • Comfortable capturing and creating photo and video content
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and current social media trends
  • Comfortable appearing in content occasionally and supporting content creation around the spa when needed
