Responsibilities & Compensation:

Whistler Day Spa is seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to support both the guest experience and the team behind it. This is a hands-on, in-person role that combines front desk operations, team leadership and detailed administrative support.

Alongside your leadership and administrative responsibilities, you'll play a key role in front desk operations and guest care by supporting guests throughout their entire spa journey. This requires a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to create a warm, seamless experience while balancing multiple priorities.

Working closely with the Spa Director, you'll support hiring, onboarding, team development, one on one meetings, and performance conversations. This role requires someone who is confident in clear communication, constructive feedback, addressing concerns, and helping foster a positive team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Daily Operations & Guest Experience

  • Support front desk and therapist teams during daily operations
  • Open and close the spa and ensure smooth flow throughout the day
  • Assist guests and step in where needed to support service quality
  • Oversee scheduling flow and communication during busy periods
  • Act as lead on shift when the Spa Director is off

Team Leadership & Support

  • Assist in recruiting, and onboarding new team members each season
  • Support and manage a seasonal team, maintaining accountability and morale
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support performance development
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, team experience, and systems
